OB/GYN Locum Tenens Opportunity – Central Coast, California

Elite365 is seeking an experienced OB/GYN physician for a locum tenens opportunity on California’s beautiful Central Coast!

Assignment Details

• Location: Central Coast, California
• Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with lunch from 12:00 PM–1:00 PM. Surgery days may vary.
• Call: Approximately 5–6 24-hour calls per month, from 7:30 AM–7:30 AM. Call may fall on any day of the week.
• Post-Call: Day off following call
• Patient Volume: 20–24 clinic patients per 8-hour shift; approximately 3–4 deliveries per 24-hour call
• EMR: Athena (clinic) / Cerner (hospital)

Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN
• Ability to manage high-risk deliveries and VBACs
• Active CA License

Required Procedures

• Outpatient: Endometrial biopsies, Nexplanon and IUD insertion/removal, colposcopy, and LEEP
• Inpatient/Surgical: C-sections, D&C, laparoscopic or open hysterectomy, tubal ligation, polypectomy, myomectomy, and endometrial ablation
• Preferred: Da Vinci robotic surgery and circumcisions
