Mammography Radiologist Locum Tenens Opportunity – Orlando

Elite365 is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Mammography Radiologist for an ongoing, full-time onsite locum tenens opportunity. The ideal candidate must be comfortable performing mammography procedures, interpreting general diagnostic radiology studies, and performing light interventional radiology (IR) procedures.

Assignment Details

• Setting: Onsite only
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Coverage: Full-time
• Credentialing: Approximately 30–60 days
• Modalities: X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy
• Subspecialties: Mammography screening and diagnostic mammography/procedures
• Daily Volume: Approximately 90–100 reads per 8-hour shift
• Productivity Expectation: Approximately 60–70 wRVUs per 8-hour shift, with a target of approximately 70 wRVUs

Required Clinical Skills

Candidates must be comfortable with the following:

• Mammography: Screening and diagnostic mammography, including needle biopsies, stereotactic breast biopsies, and other mammography procedures
• General Diagnostic Radiology: Ability to interpret general radiology studies
• Light Interventional Radiology: Ability to perform the procedures listed below

Light Interventional Radiology Procedures

Biopsies

• Thyroid, lung, bone, liver, and renal biopsies
• CT-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsies

Drainage Procedures

• Paracentesis
• Thoracentesis
• Abscess drainage
• Chest tube placement
• Cyst drainage

Lumbar Punctures and Related Procedures

• Diagnostic lumbar punctures
• Myelograms
• Epidural procedures

Requirements

• Board Certification required
• Experience performing mammography procedures, including needle and stereotactic breast biopsies
• Ability to interpret general diagnostic radiology studies
• Ability to perform light IR procedures
• Ability to meet the expected productivity standards

• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30–60 days
