Diagnostic Radiologist Locum Tenens Opportunity – Onsite | Ongoing Coverage

Elite365 is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiologist for an onsite, ongoing locum tenens opportunity! This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, a broad range of imaging modalities, and light interventional procedures.

Assignment Details

• Setting: Onsite
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Credentialing: Approximately 4–6 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Modalities: X-ray, MRI, nuclear medicine, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy
• Subspecialties: ER, MSK, Neuro, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatrics, Fluoroscopy, and diagnostic mammography procedures
• Daily Volume: Approximately 90–100 exams per 8-hour shift
• Productivity Expectation: Approximately 60–70 wRVUs per shift
• Systems:
  • PACS: Merge
  • Dictation: Fluency
  • EMR: Meditech

Procedures

Radiologists will perform a modest range of light interventional procedures, including:

• Biopsies: Thyroid, lung, liver, and renal; CT-guided and ultrasound-guided
• Drainage Procedures: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainage, chest tube placement, and cyst drainage
• Lumbar Punctures: Diagnostic lumbar punctures
• Arthrograms: Joint injections involving the knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, and ankle

Requirements

• Diagnostic Radiology experience
• Ability to interpret studies across the required modalities and subspecialties
• Comfort performing the listed light interventional procedures
• Active PA license or willingness to obtain
